

Talking about Shoffice the name originates from the combination of words shed and office. Located in London, it is a garden pavilion that comprises of a small office alongside garden storage space. Shoffice was the idea conceived when the need of 1950’s terraced house in St John’s Wood as a sculptural organically object that flowed into the garden space.

Here is the brief gist of the beautifully crafted glazed office space that nestles into an extruded timber elliptical shell, reminiscent of a wood shaving which forms a small terrace in the lawn. There is the cantilevered desk and storage and the interior is lined p of oak wood that adds to the beauty of the space.

There are two rooflightsout of which one glazed above the desk and another open to the sky outside the office that ensures there is ample light in the work space. The Shoffice project was a close collaboration between Architect, Structural Engineer and Contractor.
For its design, smart functionality, Shoffice has won the Blueprint Awards and has been shortlisted for Best Small Project.
