Seems like modern day homeowners are getting fascinated with natural beautiful products for their homes. How else would designers get so much inspired and motivated to come up with unique designs. Remember the Beautiful Stones Collection by Philip Bogaerts that we came up with some days back? I assure you all loved the collection a lot.

Here is yet another set of stones which is not just aesthetically cool instead is functionally smart too. Designed by Make that studio & Improntabarre, Petra is the reinterpretation of an ancient object that is available in numbered pieces, variety of colors and finishing.

Pètra was born as a container for fine liquids in order to be preserved as  in oil or water. It was named Bummulo Malandrino and its ingenious construction with the filling from the bottom, that protects the contents from external agents.

It is a contemporary tableware accessory with a strong organic imprint. The product blends local geography and cultural influences so well that it gels well with the modern interiors.

Petra is the result of analyzes of past and present cultural influences. The analysis focusing on an ancient jug helped in the  creating of this amazing water jug.

As you can see in the images, Petra promises to sit on the table or anywhere you wish to place and Petra  will compliment your modern decor  in such a way that adds to its elegance. Petra was presented during the first edition of Bologna Design Week 2015. The exhibition has been hosted at L’Ariete contemporary art gallery.

Be prepared as your guests if not already acquainted with it will baffle them in the first go and would be awe-struck when you serve them water the stylish way.

Unique yet cool, the overall design is so crafted that you would not just like to bring it home instead would smile all the way while serving your guests.

To sum up, I would say that  designers at Make that studio & Improntabarre have done really superb job. Imagine stones turned into something amazing like this. Thinking out-of-the-box indeed produces amazing results and this one is worth applauding. Who wouldn’t be amazed with such uniquely designed home product.
